Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how payments, refunds, and cancellations are handled for services provided by Privy Clinic. Please review this policy carefully before starting a visit.

1. Payment Policy

Privy Clinic is a cash-pay medical practice. Payment is required in full at the time of request before a clinician reviews your information.

Payment covers:

• Clinical review of your intake

• Professional medical services provided through our message-based platform

Privy Clinic does not bill insurance and does not submit claims on your behalf.

2. Refund Policy

Because medical services begin once a clinician reviews your intake, refunds are limited.

Refunds may be issued if:

• You cancel before a clinician has begun reviewing your submission, or

• Your case is determined to be clinically inappropriate for telehealth before review begins

Refunds are not issued if:

• A clinician has reviewed your intake

• Medical advice has been provided

• A prescription or treatment plan has been issued or considered

• You are not eligible for treatment based on clinical judgment

• You fail to provide complete or accurate information

Refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Privy Clinic.

3. No Guarantee of Treatment or Prescription

Submitting payment does not guarantee:

• That treatment will be provided

• That a prescription will be issued

• That a specific medication will be prescribed

All medical decisions are made by a licensed clinician based on medical appropriateness and patient safety.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may request cancellation before your visit is reviewed by a clinician. Once clinical review has begun, the visit is considered in progress and is no longer eligible for cancellation.

To request cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible through the platform or via our support email.

5. Laboratory Testing & Third-Party Services

If laboratory testing or third-party services are ordered:

• These costs are separate from Privy Clinic’s visit fee

• Labs are billed directly by the laboratory

• Privy Clinic is not responsible for third-party pricing or refund policies

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage patients to contact us directly with any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Chargebacks submitted after clinical review has begun may be disputed with documentation of services rendered.

7. Policy Updates

Privy Clinic reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
